Photo Essay: Increasing Human Development, Investing in
People
Human development is about people expanding their choices to
live full, creative lives with freedom and dignity. It requires
that people, rather than commodities, are placed at the centre
of development. This photo essay presents the
4th National Human Development Report, which gives
recommendations on how to improve human development in Lao PDR
through employment, bearing in mind the basic necessities of
human wellbeing.
